It was said by some that hes too forthright, also shades of Brandon in Legends of kyrandia. While its true he is unfailingly proper, shows little to no intrest in the opposet gender, or any, dose not really muse at things or act like a 16 year old at all. ''like Kray and Jonis teased him''.
Its mearly that he is power hungry, and also muture, like a 40 year old man. Few people get that. Darc seems past all that before he ever exseprenced it. Its not that hes a goody too shoes or a flake, he is just driven, goal orinted...he cant let himself have a sense of fun, exspecaly not on the day of his initation.
''He is not subversive like the severed cirle because hes not an idiot, and hes with it. He knows what would happen clearly''.
He even tries to enforce mage rule with the towns people if they make an off color comment. A pre-iniate investgating major war, he assumes much and seems to have balls of brass, but remains proper and respectful somehow. Clever.
He has been conditioned and trained for 10 years, but hes embraced it, and his element. Maybe a few regrets over not knowing his family but he is a pragmitist.
He would end up being a master later in life. With beginer spells he bested a 500 year old immortal, and a Master. everyone warns him about his desire for power, else makes false offers, but thats because hes innatly more powerful than them, with simplist spells.
The joke is, he is already the mightist mage, and would likely figure everything else on his on if given time. They tempt him with whats already his. ''Mostly after hes beaten them ironicly''.
No hes not flaky self rightious, or clearly gay as my freind suggested ''no offense to anyone'', refrencing ''reaction to Preistess'' or asexual. Hes just older than his years. I would guess in his personal life bog standard vanila prefences. Magic is his love, and advancement..
Hes like a fire mage no mater what class he is, but also smarter, and with a bit of all the other elements in personalty, not just one thing or the other. In closing hes a complex character.
