I really enjoyed the original version of 3 on steam, but after the Definitive edition came out I could never get it to run properly. On a 970 I was hitting 60fps most of the time with a few select settings turned down, but with the definitive edition It was struggling to hit 40fps. Also my xbox controller wasn't working properly anymore. Is this the original version? Or could anyone point me in the direction of fixing the definitive edition (which I have tried countless times to do)? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Since the GOG version never received ANY updates and the game was released on GOG before the definitive edition was released on Steam you can be pretty sure that this still is the original version.

GOG also has a 30 day refund policy so you can try it and refund it if it should not running well for you.
