Why every time I try to download Mafia my antivirus (norton) detected "Heur.AdvML.B" virus and deletes mafia files so i cant play the game

I have the same issue. I then excluded it from Norton's list and get an error (see attached). Game won't launch.

Same happens for me :-(
EDIT:
I disabled Norton Auto Protect for 15min. (Rightclick Norton Icon in the lower right corner)
and go back to Mafia in the GOG-Library.
1. Click 'More'
2. Manage installation
3. Verify / Repair...
4. After 2 min. the green PLAY-button is visible again
15 years of waiting is finally OVER :-))))
