Probably a false positive, but would still like to point out that Security Essentials on Windows 7 flags the installer exe as a trojan.

Yes, it's safe. It's a false positive, happens all the time. Someone just needs to send the .exe to Microsoft. I think they have a dedicated page for false positives, not sure.
