Does it currently include Czech language? and if not, will at some point?

Other language versions are planned, but they need to be approved by the publisher first. It's currently in the works.

Great, thanks! I have original copy on DVD but I will buy it here anyway ones it gets Czech. I just love this game and I feel like the computers won't DVD drives for a long time..

do you can tell us a specific date or a "round about" time for the release for different languages? In my case i am waiting for the german version and there is no working solution at the moment.

At the moment we are waiting for publisher's response, so there is no ETA I can give on my own, I'm afraid.

I hope it will not take so long as the German version of Arcania does. I'm waiting an entire year now for that update... :(

I have the Italian version of the game on three cds and I've managed to restore the original soudtrack ant to play the game dubbed in Italian. In my case I have deleted the sounds folder in C:\GOG Games\Mafia and then copied in the same directory two files from a previous installation: a0dta and ABdta. That's all so I guess that if you own a physical copy of the game dubbed in a language different from English you don't have to wait. Note that you won't be able to install the cd version of Mafia on Windows 10.

Will it also change the subtitles and overall text into whatever language is being copied over?

I think it won't. I haven't tried to switch on subtitles but menus and texts remain in English.

Hi i'm playing the game in spanish, and all is is in spanish (text and voices).
if you have the original disk in Italian,
go to the "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ GOG Galaxy \ Games \ Mafia" folder.
1- Delete the folder "sounds"
2-Copy this files from the disc and replace them in the gog version of mafia
A0.dta
A1.dta
A2.dta
A3.dta
A4.dta
A5.dta
A6.dta
A7.dta
A8.dta
A9.dta
AA.dta
AB.dta
AC.dta

Pd:I did it that way and it worked perfectly.,hope this works for you.
