Is there an easy way to get MAX to play in a window about double what it is the window mode? Its really small...
I don't want to do it in full screen because I need part of my screen for other stuff.

Sorry this reply is so late. You've probably already figured out how to do it, but I'll just post it here anyway for future reference.
1. Open up the file location (by default it's C:\Program Files\GOG.com\MAX 1 and 2\MAX)
2. Open up DosboxMAX1.conf using notepad
3. Underneath the [sdl] section, change the attribute "fullscreen=true" to false
4. If you want to change the window size change the "original" in "windowresolution=original" to a preferred resolution (eg 1024x768, or 800x600).
5. If you're playing online or on a network, you might want to change the same settings in DosBoxMAX1_client.conf and DosboxMAX1_server.conf as well.
