It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I know there isn't much information on this problem, since it's quite surprising, but I can't seem to get scummvm to actually launch Lures of the Temptress.
Even using the default INI that the GoG installer offers, it looks like it fails after trying to load the actual game itself.
A copy of my lure.ini file (as seen in Notepad++) [NOTE: All backslashes were removed by the GoG forums]
[scummvm]

midi_gain=100
speech_volume=192

fullscreen=false
sfx_volume=192

speech_mute=false
autosave_period=300
enable_gs=false
multi_midi=false

Other Scummvm games like Beneath the Steel Sky seem to work just dandy.
Attempted Solutions:
*Launch LURE via BASS' installation of scumvm
->FAILED (Same Result)
*Reinstall LURE
->FAILED (Same Result)
*Redownload LURE installer
->FAILED (Same Result via GoG Downloader)
I'd of course like to see if others are having issues other than me.. I guess I just prefer to try and solve issues on my own prior to contacting GoG's support groups. (Especially for a free game, I mean come on, the least I can do is try to troubleshoot my end right? ;) )

I'm probably entirely missing the point of this thread but my copy of "Lure of the Temptress" runs perfectly well when I click on the shortcut kindly supplied free by GOG

Hehe, well - the point of the thread is that it does not on Freyar's hardware.
Never had any problems with any ScummVM titles myself, either.

I do apologise if my post came over as a bit smug, it certainly wasn't meant to.
I have messed about with (and messed up) computers many times and more often than not found that the fault was usually down to something so obvious and trivial that a self inflicted kick up the behind was required after piecing together the wreckage!!
I sincerely hope that this particular problem is soon successfully resolved.
Regards.
