I'm not getting any sound effects or music anytime during the game, even though the sound is on in the options. Anybody else having this problem or no how I might fix it? I am using WinXP Pro SP3 with an X-Fi Gamer card, if that helps.
I disabled a setting in lure.ini and it helped me: see here
Does it work for you?

Well, I tried editing the lure.ini file by changing enable_gs from true to false and also multi_midi from true to false, but there was no change, unfortunately. Still no music or sound, though the game seems to run fine otherwise.

Hm, perhaps you could take a look at the scummvm forum. There is at least this thread.

Contact our tech support. When we'll get your dxdiag.txt we might be able to help you.
I fixed this by starting scummvm.exe in the scummvm subfolder, then add game, go up to choose the folder of the lure of the temptress game, choose, then edit game. in audio tab, I checked "override global audio settings" and choose adlib emulator in music device. Got music and sound.

If you lose the fullscreen by doing this, go in graphic tab, override and check fullscreen mode.

Good luck

cheers man.. this pointed me in the right path. it only worked whilst i went in that way to start the game (managed installation > show folders) and not when starting the game normally - so i modified the lure.uni in the same place and changed the music_driver from windows to adlib and now it works great!
