Alright, my player don't seem to get the tinderbox to be used on the oil burner in Taigh's house, any ideas why? When I press use tinderbox on oil burner in Taigh's hous, it says nothing happened! WTF!

I did examine it before I went looking for the oil burner. And then when I went to Taidgh's house and found the apparatus, I used tinderbox on it, but nothin happened. Am I doing this wrong?

You have to examine the diary that you get from edwina first, then look at the apparatus, then you can use the tinderbox on the oil burner.

I had this problem, too. It turns out only part of the aparatus is the oil burner, the left portion with the green bottle. Just move your mouse around the aparatus until you see Oil Burner on the top left. Make sure also to examine the diary and look at the aparatus first.
