Ich habe mir mal die Mühe gemacht und mein altes WET-Spiel ausgegraben,
da dies ja deutsch ist und auch die originale Herstellerversion war, bevor
es überhaupt ins englische übersetzt wurde.

Man kann die Datein WET.EXE & WET.DDF nicht einfach so kopieren,
da die WET.EXE von GOG.com erneuert wurde, ABER!
Ich habe die EXE abgeändert, sodas die deutsche Sprache wieder
vorhanden ist.

Da ich nicht weiß, ob es erlaubt ist einfach so einen Link zu posten,
müsste man mich mal darüber informieren.

**PS: Es ist nur der Text auf deutsch! Sounds etc. wären weiter auf englisch**

There is a full german patch of english GOG version of LULA - Sexy empire on schote.biz.

Hello there!

I just installed the german patch from schote.biz but now all the videos (intro, tutorial, etc.) aren't working anymore.
I can hear the sound and the (german) voice but only see a black screen. When I press ESC while the video is "running" the game somehow breaks and I need to kill it via task manager.

Has anyone a solution for this or do I have to play the game in english?

@GOG could you maybe add the german language and give us a german installer for the game?

Happened to me as well. My solution was to convert the videofiles to xvid for video and ac3 for audio into an .avi container. Then i renamed the .avi extension to .cut and replaced the original files in the game folder \DATA\VIDEO.

Maybe another codec pack could help as well, but i don't want to install more than i need.

I tried this but I have no program that accepts the original .cut files. May you have a suggestion?

You can use HandBrake for this. Select H.264 videocodec and AC3 audiocodec muxed into MP4 and then rename the extension to .CUT.

But maybe it's not necessary for you, as i noticed, that the latest patch from GOG broke that German patch. To fix this issue, please delete the ddraw.dll from the game folder and run the game. If the videos are still not working, then you have to convert them with HandBrake.

Deleting the ddraw.dll didn't work for me but with HandBrake it was no problem. I already tested it and it works fine.

Ich habe wie beschrieben den Deutschpatch von shoete installiert und dann die ddraw.ddl aus dem Hauptverzeichniss gelöscht und die Videos mit Handbrake convertiert. Bei mir hat das Spiel leider immernoch Grafikprobleme. Das Hauptmenü hat kein Bild mehr, die Buttons sind nicht zusehen nur der Text (auf Deutsch) jedoch auch ohne Funktion. Das Intro-Video wird auch nicht mehr abgespielt =(

Hat jemand noch zufällig noch ne Lösung?
