I'm running Windows 11, an NVidia graphics card in the 1000-series .
The game has never started for me, and I managed to capture the image before the crash in a Windows XP compatibility mode.
Repairing, and completely re-installing doesn't work. I've tried every other tips in the support guides.

I just installed it on Windows 11 and it started without problems.
Because it's an old directdraw game however, I had to add a compatible ddraw.dll

Try the one from dgvoodoo

The file shown in your screenshot as missing is not present in my game directory or one of it's subdirectories.

I don't know what that means, to try the one from dgvoodoo.

dgvoodoo2 is a wrapper for older 3D games (DX7/8 and 3Dfx) to preserve compatibility with newer graphics drivers.
It also contains a ddraw.dll, which is needed for quite a few games from the late 90s.

There is also another ddraw compatibility project which in that regard may be even better, but so far I had good experiences with the version from dgvoodoo2.
