I'm in the beginning of Chapter 16. Charles is searching for the secret room and I think I prepared everything. I used the nail gun on the generator inside the shack, switched the power on, returned to the shack.

I found a walk-through video where it seems that a cut-scene with Charles should occur after switching power on but it didn't happen. Also I can't do anything with the gun.

Did I miss something or is it a bug? Maybe I triggered it by already "nailing" the generator in the shack in a previous chapter. Have anyone experienced it too?

Thanks for the confirmation :). I wrote to developers in the case that they aren't aware of it and would plan to create a patch.

Actually, it was my mistake. I've used nails with the nail gun in a previous chapter, so I assumed the gun is loaded. The issue is that I have to grab and use nails again. I'm not sure if I just screwed previously and continued with an empty gun or not.

Bottomline: Kudos for Lace Mamba's support which was very nice and patient.
