Could the developers confirm the presence or absence of official game support for Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 for version 1.1.0?

Terrible news! The devs have rudely removed 1.0.22 from downloads, thus disrespecting all the Windows 7 customers who have paid for the product and mistreating Windows 8.1 customers (Microsoft supports 8.1 until the start of 2023). This makes absolutely no sense.

Imagine you have ordered a pizza with mushrooms and no olives, because you are allergic to olives, and the image and the details confirmed no olives, then you got a test sample, which was alright. Yet after a few hours, you suddenly see that instead of the ordered product, you got what you are allergic on, with zero options to re-order, no choice. Is it OK? Doesn't feel so. For over 2 years the game had the older installer without any issues, there is no good meaningful reason to betray the customers. People should be able to have fun.

Can it be both GOGdb & GOG API are not displaying something correctly, is the download not available at all as the data tell? If this is true, very bad news indeed.
