I know it's Windows-only but I've been able to get most other Windows games on GOG to work just fine with Wine, Lutris and Bottles (using Mint 22 Cinnamon), but I've had no luck so far with this one. It looks like a really interesting game and I'd love to play it.

As happens with these threads, it will probably be a long time before a reply so feel free to necrobump if you have any ideas or suggestions.

Good news! I got it running in Bottles using the following settings:

Create new bottle > Environment: Gaming
Settings > Runner: soda
Dependencies: vcredist2022 (download and install if it's not already)

I left all other settings at default. And for reference I'm using Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon.

Further info... It didn't work in plain Wine (staging) or Lutris. Apparently Soda is maintained by the Bottles devs and is a bit more bleeding edge than the other options. Enabling/disabling DVXK or VKD3D didn't seem to impact performance one way or another, but I didn't check framerates or anything in further detail. There are probably other settings you could change to increase performance, but it seems to run just fine on my setup.
