Can these game downloads work on the surface tablet?

Somehow I don't think they are compatible with touch screen interfaces. It would be very cool if they were though.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Often when games are run on touch screen, they have no idea that the user is not using a mouse. To my knowledge there is no hover effect needed to play these games, so that aspect may be playable.

More likely it would be a problem because it's Win RT (unless we're talking surface pro).

LOTR2 yes, kinda. best experiance will require some 3rd party software.

so touch is a little wonky, first tap is kinda interpreted as as mouse placement and clicking down, once you get a feel for it you can manage.

there is an amazing app called touchmousepointer that when run full screen makes your touch screen a large touchpad for a virtual mouse. then playing is like playing on any laptop really.

i have played on a dell venue 8 pro, so a surface pro should handle it fine

I use this on my Dell Venue 8, though only after I convert it to a PC by using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
