An amazing game with an actual plot and story. Unlike many souslike, you really feel the narrative you're into and that just adds a lot more of involviment with the game. Although the protagonist isn't that gem of charisma, he's still a solid character from my pov considering his role and backstory.

The game ambientantion and scenarios are awesome, the snowy weather and mountaineous landscapes remind me a lot of Skyrim.

The OST is lacking during tbh, but it's not like that damages the gameplay in any way, it's just that it's a wasted potential by the devs to create an even better atmosphere of immersion and epicness during the battles. The only moments I can recall of the OST getting in the "hell yeah" mode is when the bosses get on their second stage or have lost half of the health. That's when the gameplay follows your probable tension and excitment.

The armors and weapons design is a delight to the eyes and every man who likes, let's say, "medieval fantasy coolness". It's easier shown than said, but, in a few words, the game allow you to dress up like a true badass instead of constantly trying to shove in your face that you're a weakling nobody trying to beat dragons, kings and gods like in DS.

I don't like to talk about the difficulty in those games because that's a really subjective area. You can get a challenge in basically any game you play, if you limit yourself enough, play in a different way, etc. I believe the game does a good job, though, when it allows you to play anyway you like and for whatever reason. You want a challenge? Pick this game. You want just to smash some skulls and feel the wheight of your weapon while still enjoying the same gameplay of dodge and hit? Sure, pick this too.

The worst and only glitch I can recall finding was the boss Champion grabbing me after I've already dodged him and was miles away.

After all, this game is FUN and that's the most important thing for a game, right? That's its main purpose. It also has a good replayability and unique mechanics like gauntlet and runes, so it's definetly worth a try.

As my first dodge 'n' hit game, I'd give it a 5/5. I love it.
