Hey, I was thinking about purchasing this. What should I expect from the development version at this point? Should I be worried about any progress getting lost with updates?

I think you can expect there will definitely be problems. There have sometimes been game breaking bugs that are either in or added to games in development. It is a risk. But if it is your genre you may be willing to take the risk sometimes you can play some winners early.

That's what I was thinking. I may buy it but try not to play it too much since this type of game is a big time sink and would be terrible to lose progress if I'm invested.

Really need to lay that down to my younger one since he is really excited from the video :)

I am now playing it and it is a nice relaxing game. I haven't seen any bugs yet. But that could happen. Some could also sneak in. I am going to have my daughter play it as well.
