I am playing the game with a Playstation 5 controller. The control scheme allows me to move around using the stick or D-pad, but not both. The stick is obviously more natural for moving Twinsen but doesn't work at all for me in the menus where I'd much prefer the D-pad. Why did it not occur to you that both should be supported simultanteously like in EVERY other game out there that supports a modern controller?
I spent money on this game and I have been waiting weeks to be able to play it in a somewhat satisfying an non-clunky way. And I am still waiting. If you can't realise and fix such simple issues and can't roll out that patch then you shouldn't have my money and I would highly discourage anyone else from buying the game.
I'm really angry because I had good memories of this game and wanted to relieve them with modern inputs. This is the typical kind of game that lends it self to a modern controler, and you have kind of commited to it, but you have only done so superficially because the idea that you can only use the stick OR pad is ridiculous. If you go through the trouble of remastering something for the current age then could you at least get something this simple right?
