I'm a french player and I just bought Little Big Adventure 2 on gog.com. It is write on the Little Big Adventure 2's page :
"Audio and Text: English, German, French Text: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese"
So I change the language with "Language.exe" from english to french for text and voice.

Texts are in french but there is no voice at all, neither french nor english. I don't understand...

You need to run the language configuration 'as administrator' otherwise it doesn't work.

EDIT: Tested with both games, I get audio in french.

Or you can edit LBA2.cfg file and change the Language and LanguageCD keys to Fran‡ais:

Language="Fran‡ais"
LanguageCD="Fran‡ais"

It worked !
In "LBA2.cfg" it was written

Language="Francais"

instead of

"Language="Fran‡ais"

I replaced it and it worked.

Je ne parle pas bien francais mais j'essaie de vous aider. Clic droit "Configuration langues" et cliquez sur "Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur" Changer les deux langues vers le français.

The source of the problem is that the LBA.CFG file is installed without user write privileges. The same goes for LBA2.CFG . It would be pretty simple for GOG to fix this in the installer -- part of the patch control process should be to identify files that need user write permissions and to explicitly set them.

Put it on the checklist guys, please!

Bonjour pour ceux qui utilisent MAC pour lba 2, après avoir lu toutes les réponses, impossible d'exécuter language.exe sur mac. Alors ce que j'ai fait, direction un pc windows j'ai installé le jeu, j'ai exécuté language.exe, choisi le français. Tout fonctionne (écriture et audio).
J'ai récupéré le fichier LBA2.CFG et remplacé dans le contenu du paquet du jeu dans le mac, voici ce qu'il y a dedans :

(vous pouvez le copier-coller dans votre fichier LBA2.CFG en l'ouvrant avec TEXTEDIT (inclut dans le mac))

J'ai également remarqué que ce n'était pas suffisant car il n'y a plus aucune voix (pas de voix en français installée) alors j'ai récupéré le fichier FR_GAM.VOX pour le mettre dans le dossier "VOX".
Il pèse trop lourd pour être posté ici, alors je l'ai mis en deux fichier. Bien tout copier les éléments de FR_GAM 2.VOX et les mettre à la suite dans FR_GAM.VOX, ça ne donne qu'un fichier et vous le mettez dans le dossier VOX.

Et voilà j'espère que le fichier va se télécharger sinon vous avez la solution d'emprunter un ordinateur windows pour pouvoir récupérer ces deux fichier ou alors réussir a lancer dans le mac l'exécutable "language.exe" (si vous êtes super fort, c'est pas mon cas :) )

J'espère aider les personnes qui cherche à résoudre ce problème :)

Impossible de joindre le fichier FR_GAM.VOX par ici, si quelqu'un a une idée d'où le mettre à dispo, dites moi :)

Doesn't seem to work anymore.

I've tried all above stated methods to no avail.

It clearly states in the config file "Fran‡ais", I manually launched it from the Language Mod file, and from the Platform.

I've also tried to change the language from DosBox settings, it shows french, but the voices and texts are still in englsh once the game is launched.

Are you using the latest installer? GOG introduced a bug when they added cloud saving, but I think it's fixed now. It's because LBA.cfg is in both the base LBA directory, but the game is set to use the one in the cloud_saves folder
...I think that was the issue anyway

The cloud save was the issue, I had to go to the file folder, remove the cfg file with the change settings and put it in the cloud save folder.

Got the job done.
