Hi,

Little Big Adventure had its amazing soundtrack as extra for the game, if you put the original cd into a player you could listen to it. It would be the greatest content you could add for LBA so please, could you put it as bonus for this great game??

Thanks for bringing back Little Big Adventure (as well as tons of great games!) :)

Little Big Adventure 2 anytime soon? :P
The updated installer for the game includes an ISO image of the CD under the filename "LBA.GOG". You can mount this in a virtual CD-ROM drive, and should then be able to rip the audio tracks from it, or otherwise use it to play the original CD music.

edit: or not. See below for the correct information.

Thanks!!! I seriously love this game.... brings so many good memories! :)
So I've tried this myself and failed :(

All I see is a single data track in the CD image. Can anyone assist?

I've mentioned on the main forum that some of the tracks are on YouTube, like LBA2 theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4aYSdVs0c4

There are online downloaders (youtube-mp3.org) you can use to save it to mp3, if you'd like.

Are you mounting it as an ISO? That doesn't give access to the audio tracks for mixed mode CDs.

It appears to be a bin/cue image. LBA.DAT is the cue file and LBA.GOG the bin.

To access the audio files, copy LBA.DAT to LBA.CUE and mount LBA.CUE in bin/cue mode. The disc will appear as a data disc in explorer but media players and rippers should be able to get at the audio tracks. I'm listening to the soundtrack in VLC right now (open disc mode) :)
Poulscath: Thank you, mounting LBA.DAT instead of LBA.GOG worked a treat!

MasodikTiasma's tweaks to the .DAT file are undoubtedly recommended as well.

edit: And of course, I now see that it was explained already and that I just failed to take in that rather important information. D'oh.

GOG just put up a new version, I'd check to see if it was already fixed or not. Would be nice if it was :)
You're right, there's a new version.

Ludicrously, it doesn't include that fix.

Keep using the modified version.

I'm flattered. ;-)

Since you're mentioning the new installer, anyone knows what does it bring, if not a fixed .dat?
Even as a YouTube guy, it seems like there are several songs not included there. I'll try mounting LBA2 to see if I can get all the music. :)

This is great! Thanks!
It's quite easy to to work around this mounting thing, and it totally works. On the other hand, it'd be awesome if GOG just added the OST's to both games as an exra.
Found the soundtracks here (may be already posted elsewhere):

EDIT: Oh, heh, these songs are quite short. :P

Yes, it would be awesome if they updated the bunuses with things like the soundtrack of these two games and revised things like the design sketches (some of the ones for LBA1 are really from LBA2, so I suppose there are some missing. I know they might not exist anymore, but as an all time fan I would like to have it all).
