As you know, "Gain" perks require at most 9 of the chosen attribute to be taken. This detail is described on wikis, gamebanshee and walkthroughs.
Bu this detail is not written anywhere for Superior Senses, which caused my build to be broken as I was aiming for maximizing Perception.
So to avoid my predicament, those who wish to get "Gain Perception" and "Superior Senses" perks should start with 9 Perception, Gain Perception at lvl 11+ , then on the next Perk selection drink Ale / Serpent's Bile to lower it back to 9, take Superior Senses.
My mistake was to look through Galileo's telescope early in the game which prevented me from taking one of these two perks. So the order should be:
-> Gain Perception
-> Superior Senses
(After taking these two above, the following two quest-lines should be done)
-> Galileo's telescope (Stargazer perk)
-> Inquisition initiation quest (Rod of the Inquisitor)
(both give permanent +Perception and no, the rod can't be dropped to lower perception)
I don't think I'd play another archer build but I wanted to write these details in case anybody needs it.
I added this detail here since I could not find a way to edit other documents on the internet.. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Superior_Senses
