Hi. I've looked at nearly every thread on this board trying suggestions on how to get rid of these annoying mouse trails when playing the game. Ideally, I would like to play the game in wide-screen mode but if my only option is running 800x600 res that will suffice.

I am running in a laptop with integrated Intel graphics and an nvidia GeForce processor. I've verified the integrated graphics is the mode that is being used within the game. I've tried just about every compatability mode setting that exists, all to no avail.

The wide-screen mod only seems to make the problem worse as well.

I noticed that multiple users have run in windowed mode and had success there. Has anyone been able to do this using Windows 10? Since the game is 16bit graphics and Windows 10 does not allow you to change the graphics depth down to 16bit,how have people had success running windowed mode (using dxwnd)?

Many thanks in advance!

I found a solution for windows 10 that worked for me (using that link thanks!)

1) Install direct x SDK (large file, sorry) https://goo.gl/vTNaDt
2) Open Directx control panel
3) Directdraw tab - Uncheck "Use Hardware acceleration" - OK - Close
4) Install Lionheart widescreen patch
5) Right click lionheart.exe - Properties - Compatibility tab
6) Select 'run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "windows xp (service pack 2)
7) check "run this program as administrator"

Following these steps solved and i'm now running glitch free at 1366x768 res!!
