I mean yes it isn't perfect, it wouldn't run on my widescreen High-def monitor for some reason so I had to use my old LCD one, and the later half of the game consists of killing waves of undead/demonic enemies "but is that really a bad thing?".
Also the music wouldn't come on very well in Barcelona for some odd reason, but it is still a good game nonetheless, I enjoyed the choices you were given for quests and how people would jump you in the back alleys for your gold.
Also having the chance to pretty much kill most npc's through dialogue was great because I play more of a Anithero type of character in every rpg, I mean yeah I will collect the item you want or defend you from assassins but after the quest is over and my reward is in hand I will most likely kill you as well for an extra incentive by looting your corpse.
I mean most games only let you extort extra gold by persuasion or threaten, in this game you can actually KILL them AFTER you extort them which is basically icing on the cake lol.
Also the combat system is pretty fun and exciting and it's pseudo real-time, it reminds you of diablo 2 but with less clicking or holding the left mouse button down. It has a perk/S.P.E.C.I.A.L. system that was integrated from fallout 1-2 and the skill system is pretty decent. I basically played a Feralkin "Wolfman" warrior that could use buffs/fire/healing spells which was great, i suggest adding a lot of int regardless of your calss so you get more skill points and so you regenerate mana in this game at a steady pace, because being able to cast fireballs against multiple targets and use your sword/enhancement buffs against single bosses is really helpful.
It is basically a deeper Diablo 2 in every way, it has a better story and more quests with less taxing combat ie You don't have to click constantly to attack or hold the mouse down which helps for lazier people, or people that have sore wrists.
One big downside for most people will be the lack of multiplayer/popularity but if you prefer playing solo and hated having your Uniques stolen from other players like in Battlenet in Diablo 2 "like I did" I sometimes wished I could just pk people out of nowhere in that game because of it and it took me soooooo many runs to get Immortal Kings for my barb that it wasn't even funny because whenever I put a simple password or forgot to add one a level 20 paladin would jump in my game and show up next to me... basically just a human vaccuum picking up everything that drops.
Anyways give it a shot if you haven't tried it, it's only 5 bucks so there's nothing to lose.
