howdy, new to this sort of game and could not find this info in the manual or in the forums. hopefully a simple question: would someone please explain what the number is in parens for armor class (AC). as in AC: 47 (67)?

47 is your base armor class. 67 is what your armor class is after modifications from spells, armor, and a shield. Think of the number in parentheses as your EFFECTIVE armor class.
