I downloaded the Mac installer, but I can't seem to find the proper files to import into Boxer. All I'm seeing are Wine and Windows related files. It seems to me that the game is actually the Windows version. Is it possible to get the DOS version? I reckon it's possible since the manual does indicate installation instructions for DOS.

Yes, it's completely possible. I put together an archive containing the DOS interpreter and drivers, which can be downloaded here.
