ciemnogrodzianin: Are you going to provide Linux ports for the game?
And - any hope for Linux version for the first remake (LSLR)? Steam offers Linux port, GOG doesn't - why?
I would not expect anything else from LSL: Reloaded tbh.
Sierra owned the rights to Leisure Suit Larry 1-3 and 5-7, which then went to I believe Vivendi which is now owned by Activision who released Magna Cum Laude. Josh Mandel, Al Lowe and a gay guy by the name of Paul Trowe who helped work on later installments.
Codemasters got the IP and released Box Office Bust but then gave it to Replay Games, who had the rights and made Reloaded. The owner of Replay Games, Paul Trowe, was on probation for having sex with underage boys. With two years left on his probation, he actually filmed a threeway with two other guys and himself and sent that video to a 15-year old girl whose boyfriend was involved in that video. The court decided to add 10 years to his probation but that meant all the old gang from Sierra, including Josh Mandel and Al Lowe bailed on him. Most of his backers also were unwilling to let him slide on this and it's not hard to see why.
This new series is made by some German group called Assemble, and there's some criticism for the fact they really didn't deliver on Fanservice, but it's an entirely different group of people than made Leisure Suit Larry. No one from Sierra/Replay is involved.
