Separating this topic out. Ok, so it turns out that you can run SVGA/VESA sierra games partially on the latest 'daily builds'.

The biggest issue its not fully implemented. The game is very buggy, graphics are not in the right position, the menus are screwed up. It also runs very slowly. I mean very slowly, lots of slow downs and freezes.

It's basically unuseable, but you can watch the game intro! I couldn't figure out how to get beyond the menu.
