The game just freezes once a minute for like 10 seconds. I don't know what the problem is... I don't have any issues playing the LEGO Harry Potter games, but this one periodically freezes.

Does anybody have the same issue or a solution for that?

I also get a one second pause every 20 seconds or so. I am on Windows 10 with an i7-7700HQ and an Nvidia 1050M. Other games run fine, I haven't checked other lego games though.

EDIT: I fixed the problem by disabling C-States and Intel Speedstep in the BIOS.
