Just started the game (Eisenwald Blood of November) and am unable to enter the Merchant tent just outside my castle. The cursor changes like on the other buildings but when clicking on the tent nothing happens. All the other buildings in the vicinity work as they should and I can enter OK. This is a pain as I need equipment :)

Also, I've just patched to the latest version but it is still showing v1.0 on the launcher. I'm hoping that it's patched alright so is there somewhere else ingame that shows the version number?

You have to buy a merchant upgrade first in your castle, its no bug ;)
Ask your kastellan for it.
