Two days ago I was wandering whether I should buy Legends of Eisenwald on GOG, because it was on sale and I like GOG better, or should I buy it on Steam due to achievements being available there. I've finally bought it from you and today I've noticed, to my great surprise, that it has achievements on GOG Galaxy too. Great!!!
Only that they don't unlock. Is this still work in progress? If so, will they unlock retroactively? Or should I wait and play the game when this is resolved?

Hey NimeeAime!

That is sadly correct. Achievements are visible, but they are not working yet. There were problems with them, so we decided to implement them in a next update. We are not entirely sure, when said update will be.

Achievements related to main story are most likely retroactive, but don't quote me on that.

Played the game today and it seems like the achievements still aren't working. What a bummer.

Well in my opinion the problem with the achievements in gog are if you open the game from the folder for example or a quick access in the desktop, the game wont "link" with gog galaxy. This happened to me with the game from the other sale "DEX".
So with this game the problem i can see is that it opens a launcher and then the game open dosnt "link" to the game itself, maybe its something related to that.

Yes the same here, stille now in august 2017 !!
And the problem is not only with the achievments but also with the spent time count..
In fact, The galaxy launch the game launcher.
The game launcher switch OFF when you launch the game from it.
And Galaxy stops to record your game time and so on, you achievements...


Hurra up Galaxy....

yes, we want to fix it. The thing is that GOG software is a bit unpredictable. The achievements were working at some point, then they stopped working without any changes on our part. We couldn't get from GOG the list of changes they made and after a lot of trial and error we gave up. But the support for the achievements is there already and sooner or later we will figure it out. Unfortunately, sales numbers are not enough to justify top priority for fixing this issue (we have to listen to our investors). Once we are done with the release of our new game (should come out in October), we will take a look at the achievements one more time.

Thanks for posting this update. Good to see there is some progress being made.

I take it that the achievements are showing up for you in Galaxy? I can't see them in my profile page. Did you see achievements that you had previously completed, or are they only new achievements?
