Does anybody know where Kyrandia Book 1 stores saved games ? I'd like to transfer mine to my laptop to keep playing while not at home.

They are stored in your main Kyrandia game directory. Look for files labeled Kyra1-cd.000, kyra1-cd.001, Kyra1-cd.002, etc. Those are your saved games. There is also one Kyra1-cd.999, and I think that's the autosave slot.
