I downloaded LoG from GoG on April 21, and the file name is
setup_legend_of_grimrock_1.0.0.8.exe

But when I start the game, it says "version 1.1.4" in the lower left corner.

1.0.0.8 is GOGs internal version numbering for installers, they differ from the game version. 1.0.0.6 was the installer version for LoG 1.1.3. Hopefully, the update notifier will sort the confusion out. ;)
