Just started playing and the game looks great..however I just ran into a creature that looks like a snail (first monster I have come across) and I am unable to attack it. My fighter has a mace which she has a profiency point in and my other fighter is proficient in unarmed so I think I am ok with those guys up front...
I have tried R and L mouse button ( the mace (cudgel) is in the fighters right hand) but she won't swing it ..the other front row character refuses to use his unarmed fists.
Wondering what the heck I am missing...what am I doing wrong. I looked through the manual and did the small tutorial......any help would be very welcome.

Are you right-clicking on the snail or on your weapon in the party member's inventory (bottom right side of the screen). To attack, you should be clicking the actual weapon in your PC's hand, not the monster itself.

Also there seems to be a bug sometimes that prevents attacking, restarting the game seems to help.
