I'm on level 3, and even looking at guides doesn't help.
Does anyone know? Everyone is starving.

There are switches that open other doors and holes but nothing to open the brown door. There's also a gate in front of it, I'll take a screenshot

Are you referring to the door just northeast of the teleportation roundabout?

Access to that door is found on the other side of the 'fence', I believe. You need to approach it from a different direction, and it involves a hidden path.

Is the switch a hidden switch in the wall?
