can't seem to find the key and nothing happens when i click on the "loose rock" on the wall with the runes opposite the portcullis.

annoying

found the solution. sometimes just clicking on all walls works :)

No it doesn't.

Click on secret door switches once and only once, or you'll close them.

Something always happens when you click on a loose rock. Did you right click or left click? Because the latter doesn't work.
