Hint: The note tells you to rest where the dragonS (plural) gaze. You do not have to actually look at either dragon.

Luckmann: It should be mentioned that you have to face the demon-head while resting, not the door.

I waited a loooong time.
You dont actually need to rest. All you need to do is look at the statue for a bit without moving.

What the hell are you people talking about?? You don't have to look at any statues. You just make a line on your map (the direction of those dragons) and sleep for a short time in on the tile on which their "gaze/sight" crosses. And nothing scarred me.
