With the patched Gog version the usual method of opening the Iron Door on level 5 does not work. I don't know if the location & the method have been changed or if something in the patch simply broke it.

You mean the trick with sleeping? If it is then you have to find the note first.

tbh, sleeping never worked for me, even prepatched, ive always stood there waiting, i usually gain a level jus before getting there so standing still for a few mins wasnt ever a problem.

It's not opening for two different saves. One with and one without the note. Even the party who've found the note can't get it to open.

And the party who haven't found it can't find it. It appears to have disappeared.

Strange. I didn't have any problems with opening the Iron Door on that level. Both versions.
