Just manually deleted my dx 9 and re-downloaded game works now ...I also read that the game fried some gpu's or overheated them...I have AMD HD6530D onboard graphics in the AMD APU..safe to run game?

Yep. New version turns vsync on by default, that's the issue some people were having. The cards were just running like crazy without vsync.
