So, uh, does dead mean dead or is there a way to resurrect? I had one guy killed at the spear skeleton. Am I supposed to just reload and try again? Or is there some expectation that you'll lose party members over time but win if you have one left at the end?

IIRC you can revive them at the crystals

Oh, lol, thanks, I was just steps away but hadn't found them yet. I'm playing no-map the first time through for an old-skool experience.

But I also finally figured out how to learn a spell, so I reloaded, had the wizard learn his spell and redid the skeleton without anyone dying. It's all better now.
