I haven't downloaded the game yet, but have you tried to download the missing .ddl files and putting them directly into the game folder?

I've got the same problem. Running Vista.

Yep same problem running on windows 7,. though i am running in parallels which is not always a good idea.

I had this problem and was able to solve it by re-installing the game and clicking the box for "Install Direct X". Hopefully, this works for some of you as well.

I tried this and now I've got an other error

Check that DX9 is properly installed on your system(Preferably by reinstalling the latest version) if this fails to remedy the issue, the installer is broken and you'll have to re-download it.

OK, I fixed this, I did same thing as essi2 said (installed DX9).
Funny, I always tought that if I have DX11, I don't need to install DX9.
