Just bought Legend of Grimrock 2 because I saw there was macOS version. The game can load up fine but selecting Setting will crash the game every time with a error message about Lua scripting.

Same problem here with M1 Pro, macOS 12.5. I have not found any solution for the crash, but was able to work around it by changing settings out-of-game by editing grimrock.cfg in ~/Library/Application Support/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock 2. All seems to work fine except for choosing Settings in the game.

I have the same problem (Sonoma 14.7 on M3 Pro).
