So I just finished the game then but I still want more so I'm wondering what the future plans for the game are? I've noticed that you select your dungeon when starting a new game but right now for obvious reasons you can't change it, does this mean the developer is planning to release future dungeons or possibly (hopefully) a level editor?
There will be a level editor.
Can you make hexagonal tiles?

Silverdragon: Can you make hexagonal tiles?
Without any knowledge of the planned editor I'm gonna say no. The game doesn't have any hexagonal tiles, nor does the style of game ever have hexagonal tiles. This game is made in the style of all the old dungeon crawlers like dungeon master so it's unlikely they will try any innovations like that ... I don't even the idea sounds any good.
Basically, there's a potential for this game to become something like Trackmania is for racing games: Users will be able to build additonal dungeons (we have yet to see how complex the released editor will be, whether we will be able to create custom graphics, monsters, mechanisms, or if we will be limited to what the game already has), so chances are, a year from now there will be hundreds of dungeon crawler adventures available on the net.
yeah we would like to see their opinion about future of LoG.
Lost the link but according to a recent blogpost they have announced that the level editor will be pretty basic to begin with, then future updates will add more advanced functionality.

that would be awesome ^^
i think that even only with the "basic" editor (monster, weapons, effects...used in vanilla game) it can be created awesome adventures, that depends on modder's talent.
