mg1979: I understood that the original dungeon is boring for many. Are there good mods that make the purchase worth for somebody who cares a bit also about story/variety? Mods with also externals and that make a good RPG experience? Is the modding community overall alive? Are there dialogs in the game/mods? Thanks
Among the mods on that site I played one called "the wine merchant" or something like that. It's not long (around 7 levels until the end boss) and you can't customize your characters, but the story is original and the puzzles are well done. I recommend it.
Also it's sort of old school in the sense that you have no way of digging a walkthrough if you feel tempted to "cheat" your way though it.
I also downloaded another mod that I expect to play in the near future, but I can't remember its name now. I know it was evaluated favorably, tho.
