Dryspace: I purchased it here in January of 2020, I'm happy to say.

After a recent decision of Valve's, I began buying from GOG a copy of every game I had previously purchased via Steam. I had Spec Ops: The Line on my list, and was unpleasantly surprised to find it absent from GOG when I wanted to check the price the other day.

Keeping this in mind, I may have to be less patient about sale pricing in the future.

Therron Keen: Would you mind generating an MD5 hash for the original version, and also paste the exact original filename?

I'm willing to get this game from a p2p service but I'd like to be able to verify the contents, and it would be awesome if you could post that for me and anyone else interested.

Thanks!
What exactly you need to verify? Soul Reaver 1? Original GOG release or modern uldate that rid happen here on GOG and removed reverted? Or Retail CD release?

Verify first file names of exe/bin. During setup make sure you check "Verify integrity" checkbox. This for bin files verifications. As for main exe file - there should be Digital Signature tab, when Windows should report "Sign valid" at additional info tab (+date, company GOG SP zoo, email etc).

There is some ways to verify disc images too.
I wonder when this is going to be available for purchase again. I own the whole series on GOG except this one. I completed Blood Omen last year and haven´t played the others because I want to play them in order.

Maximum you can try to get it legally - GOG or Steam keys for game or series bundle. Or lurk file name mentioned above. In any way better lurk for that modern setup, even as a base for fan-made fixes (old build of GOG have converted video and intro misplaced by pre-release promo/trailer version, or something like that). Modern build is just clear original game version with GOGs DX Wrapper (which should be renamed if you want use Wrace's fix mod wrapper).
So, Aspyr really did announced Remastered. Same again, bundle of few titles. I assume same again for PC - instead of separate remastered games(as on consoles) it will come in 2in1 form - as always on PC.

That can lead to some disadvantages after original PC or consoles remastered ports.
There is some disadvantage or even issue in Aspyrs Tomb Raider beside it is bundle. Original was DOS. Remaster have "classic mode" render which is not hogher quality of original. Just like CnC Collection too.
Worse for PC version of TB cause it is bundled and share asset's based on TR3.

Legacy of Kain originally D3D and Windows only titles. Easier to keep some original style if it would include "classic mode".

It will have an option to toggle between original and remastered graphics, yes. Plus, an option to switch between original or new control schemes (they even designed a new skybox with a day+night cycle to properly accommodate the new free camera movement and the photo mode). I'm including a screenshot I just took from Crystal Dynamics' official page for Soul Reaver+Soul Reaver 2 Remaster. It's not hard to find. Speculating is fine, and all, but the info IS there, and it's official. It's not just wishful thinking.
