If you're running an ATI gpu and receiving the following error while trying to launch the game:

---------------------------
Kain2 Error
---------------------------
This game requires DirectX6
---------------------------
OK Cancel
---------------------------


All you need to do is to delete or rename the atiumdag.dll file from the installation directory and you're set!

I have no clue why GOG decided to include this file in the installer since it's not a part of the original game and only breaks the game for ATI users.

Actually most ATI GPUs have more problems running the game without that dll. So better to include it and give the option to remove it in case of problems :-)

Thank you very ery very much, I just spent a good 20 minutes looking for DirectX 6, but this should work.

I renamed the DLL to "GameBreakingpieceofshit.dll".
