Hi, I want to buy SR1, a classic game, one of my favourites, but I think the GOG version is only in english. SR1 has no subtitles or "language selection" -I know it- and my level of listening english isn't so good. Misunderstanding the dialogues in this game is... well, I think it means to lose the 90% of the experience.
Copying the voice.dat archive of a pirate version of the SR1 in spanish doesn't fix the problem, because the files -in english and spanish versions- are completely different.

If you copy the files voices.dat and locals.pc, it works (at least, it works for me). Good luck

I think that if you follow the instructions from sicokiller (obtaining the voices.dat and locals.pc files from a portuguese version of the game) it would work.

Thanks, but this don't brig the voices of the cinematic.

The portuguese version has a problem with the last patch and the voice of the game is cut in the last seconds.

I have my Original CD :-)

But has a Unofficial patch in the "Lost Worlds":

This solve my problems years before, but not in GOG version because this need the CD.

I will play in english. This will be a training to me.
