I installed the game and I can watch the opening video, the moment it switches from video to the game-world it freezes.

I was able to get the game working by opening the propertioes and going to the local files. There I ran the exe file as admin and changed the compatablity to run the program as Windows xp service pack 2. I also selcted run in 256 colors under settings and the privilage level as run as admin checked.
