Hi,

So I had Soul Reaver on Steam already but didn't finish it due to a lack of controller functionality
As it was on sale on gog I thought let's give it a try.
I am using an xboxone controller and appearantly Raziel doesn't stop walking. Any fixes to that?

In the readme is a link to the dll, that you need to copy inside the game folder (not bin/dinput.dll, just in the game folder). Should fix it.

general solutions like x360ce must be enough. Better use General PnP Dinput controllers, not Xinput from consoles.

P.S. Recently i try analog gamepad (Dinput) in analog mode (sticks) and it work. Digital mode (d-pad) result to "circle-running" glitch. Must be - and I'm sure that happens before - Vise versa: analog mode not supported by that old game.

Does anybody know any fixes to have full controller support on Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance? I want to play the games but not having full controller support kinda prevents me from doing so, since I only have a laptop and a Xbox One controller.

I understand what you mean, but it not "full controller support". All LOK games fully support any Digital(*) General PnP gamepad controllers. "FCS" - when game can be controlled by gamepad in any menu, can be configurable\rebibdebale for any gamepads. This games is a port from consoles and it fully playable with gamepads.
*For me - analog in analog too. I can control Raziel in SR1. SR2 and Defiance as i can google it support analog sticks initially.

Xinput controllers - not a General PnP. They work only in native-support games, most of them - ports from Xbox360\X1\PS3\PS4. Better use another gamepad (some non-original from consoles have switcher Dinput-Xinput mode, some probably have switcher in software). If you do not have - google it wrappers like x360ce.

I have Razer Hydra motion controller. And in gamepad mode (or without driver) it exactly General PnP device. Both D-pads and analog sticks work.

Your solution worked for me.
For everyone else: Download this DLL file, and simply paste it inside the game's folder.
That should fix all of your controller issues.

Does it actually fix it and give analogue movement or does it let you use the joystick as if it were keys?

Yeah, same fix we have for any old PC game. Download (reWasd) and map your controller to the key board.
