The first one flickers real bad. Not a game-breaker by any means, but annoying. Made me glad I'm not epileptic, for boy had a gotten a seizure if I were.

Been scouring the web for solutions, and I can't even find anyone else having the same problem.

Any tips for me, or will I just have to endure it?

Wow i have been having the same issue, i discovered shortly afterwards that it simply was task manager that caused the *BULK* of it, not all of it but most of it, although sometimes it can be bad without task manager, but if you have it open you "kinda" need to close it.

Also i found alt-tabbing actually solves a bit of it during some cutscenes, *Shrugs shoulders* i dont know how that works...
I also have been getting this problem on Windows 8. No, I didn't have the task manager open.

Don't know if it matters, but I'm playing on 1920x1080p on a tv, with antialiasing and anisotropic filtering on (enabled in-game, rather than on the video card control panel).

I was getting really bad tearing using 7950s in cross firex mode after I made an exception to disable them for the game all of the sudden the tearing stopped. don't know your setup but if you have cross fire or sli try disabling it.

No, I have not. It's a Dell notebook with an NVidia video card.

Anyway, the flickering only happens on FMVs, and those are present in the game only in the intro and ending. It's annoying but possible to watch (except for people prone to having seizures or something). I haven't managed to solve it, but I finished the game anyway and wasn't too much upset by this.

if it is only flickering during the fmvs then it might be a problem with your codecs.
