Does anyone have the GOG widescreen patch for Defiance and wouldn't mind uploading it somewhere.

I was looking for it and came across http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=128275&p=1794252#post1794252, but the link leads to a 503 Service Unavailable. I looked to elsewhere, like WSGF and Steam, but they all just link to that same post or broken link.

Also having the same problem. Site hosting the file has been down for weeks. Does anyone know of another way of getting it? Just replayed SR 1 and 2 and am itching to finish the story, never played defiance!

I probably still have it somewhere. However I will first have to dig through my dead laptop's backup copies and I don't have access to it right now. And then I'll have to check if the account I used for uploads is still active.
So, I'll upload it but it will take about a week.

They are available . The site is in Russian though, but is easy enough to navigate if you don't happen to be fluent (and in that event, there's always Google Translate/etc I suppose). The download seems to contain both versions of the widescreen fix from that forum thread though. I put the archive through [url=https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/dcc008846ca21bfa602e59f07dcb507950a553218f2a1b034ffa21bc2d7e2000/analysis/1459336525/]virustotal and it comes up clean, but as to browsing the site itself I guess I'd say err on the side of caution since it seems to have a fair share of ads strewn about.

edit: I've uploaded it here as well, just for the sake of having an alternative. It's a free host though, so the warning regarding ads still applies.

Thank you for this. I actually did find that site, but when I tried to download the fix, my computer canceled the download with a Virus Detected warning, so I never was able to get it. Using your upload though, it downloaded fine and worked perfectly, thank you very much and I have marked your post as the solution.
